Give us the basics about your Poway property and what you are seeing. We will get back to you to talk it through and set up a site visit.

Fill this out and Poway Structural will put together a free quote. Tract lot, hillside parcel, or acreage, it’s all in our area. If the job ends up needing a design stamp, we coordinate with licensed engineers as needed.

You do not have to diagnose anything. “The back wall is leaning more than it used to” is a fine place to start.

Every part of Poway, valley floor to ridgeline

All of Poway. That covers Old Poway and the Poway Road corridor, the Poway Valley tract neighborhoods, Silverset, StoneRidge, Green Valley, the Garden Road area, Old Coach and Maderas, High Valley, and the Rattlesnake Creek area. Those names are examples. If you are inside the city, you are inside our service area.

Poway properties range from a standard tract lot to many acres with several structures. If yours is on the larger side, mention gates, any long or steep driveway, and which structures you want us to look at. Walking the whole lot in one visit usually tells us more, because walls, pads, and drainage on a big property tend to be connected.

Details that save a second visit

Beyond the basic contact fields and a quick description, a few Poway-specific details save a lot of back-and-forth:

  • Lot type. Tract lot, hillside, or acreage. Rough size if it is large.
  • What is involved. The house, a retaining wall, a barn or shop, an ADU, a pool, a slope.
  • What you know about the pad. Cut, fill, rock, or no idea. Any grading plans or soils reports you have.
  • Water. Pool, septic and leach field, heavy irrigation, or a creek nearby.
  • History. When the house was built, any additions, and whether it was rebuilt after a fire.
  • Timing. When you first saw the problem and whether it changes after rain.

Photos with something for scale help. For a wall, one shot from the end looking down its length shows lean better than a straight-on picture.

After you hit submit

  1. We look over your request and any photos.
  2. We contact you by your preferred method to ask a few questions and pick a time.
  3. We walk the property. House, walls, slopes, drainage. We take floor readings, map cracks, and look at how water moves across the lot.
  4. We give you our read and a scope. Engineering, soils testing, and City paperwork all get named up front, before any decision is yours to make.

Submitting the form does not commit you to anything.

If something is moving fast

Most foundation and wall problems change slowly. If yours is not, say so in the description: a wall that leaned noticeably after one storm, fresh cracks in the ground near the house, or a door that went from fine to stuck in a week. That helps us talk through next steps with you quickly, including whether anyone should stay clear of an area until it is looked at.

City, County, or HOA?

Inside city limits, permits go through City of Poway Building Services. Some parcels near the city’s edges are unincorporated County of San Diego, even with a Poway mailing address. If you are unsure, include your street and we will check.

If you are in a planned community with an HOA or architectural review, let us know. Some exterior work may need their sign-off.
